Just In! We have an upcoming Logrolling Tournament - April 11th,2026

Step onto the log and test your balance at Hometown Showdown, Verona’s first log rolling competition! Log rolling (birling) is a fun, head-to-head water sport where competitors use footwork and balance to stay on the log longer than their opponent.

Medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division.

 World Champion Log Roller Garrick Birdsong and local professional Caity Birdsong will be teaching this New Logrolling class.

Garrick Birdsong has been rolling for 19 years and has appeared in 7 televised matches. He got his start both rolling and teaching at the La Crosse YMCA and has taught and coached logrolling at all skill and age levels for over 10 years.

Caity Birdsong has been rolling for 7 years being one of the few professional rollers to start as an adult. She got her start rolling at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point where she quickly progressed and helped other students enjoy the sport.
 
Logrolling is enjoyable for all experience levels and age groups. Learn to balance on a floating log and compete against your friends!
