Blended Learning Lifeguard Training Course
- The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding program is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to:
- Prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies
- Provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illness until emergency medical services (EMS) professionals take over.
- Participants MUST attend all dates and times. No exceptions.

Blended Learning Lifeguard Training Review Class
- The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Recertification course is to give participants the opportunity to review the course knowledge and skills in order to maintain their Lifeguarding certification.
- Eligibility criteria:
- Possess an American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification. Certification must be currently valid or expired by no more than 30 days*
- You must upload a copy of your certification with your name and expiration date to complete the registration process
- Can't locate your certification? Use Find My Certificate to download a copy
- Successfully complete the pre-course session, consisting of : Swim-Tread-Swim Sequence & Time Event (completed within 1 minute , 40 seconds)

Lifeguard Instructor Course (LGI)
- The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor Course is to train instructor candidates to teach the basic-level courses and modules in the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Program.
- Eligibility criteria:
- Must be 17 years of age on or before the last day of the course
- Possess a current basic-level certification in Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) with CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
- You must upload a copy of your certification with your name and expiration date to complete the registration process

- Successfully complete the pre course session, consisting of:
- Skill assessment scenario
- Practice and polish session

Lifeguarding Instructor/Instructor Trainer Recertification Course (LGI/IT)
- The purpose of the Lifeguarding Instructor/Instructor Trainer Recertification course is to give instructors and instructor trainers the opportunity to review the course knowledge and skills in order to maintain their American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor or Instructor Trainer certification. Successfully completing this course is the only method for maintaining certification as an instructor or instructor trainer.
- Eligibility criteria:
- Possess an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor or Instructor Trainer certification. Certification must be currently valid or expired by no more than 1 year.* Instructors or instructor trainers whose certifications were revoked or withdrawn for any reason are not eligible to participate.
- You must upload a copy of your certification with your name and expiration date to complete the registration process

- *If you are in your 1-year grace period, your certification is not considered valid and you are NOT able to teach
- Possess an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor or Instructor Trainer certification. Certification must be currently valid or expired by no more than 1 year.* Instructors or instructor trainers whose certifications were revoked or withdrawn for any reason are not eligible to participate.

- The Basic Level-Lifeguarding session is only available if five (5) participants are interested. Please inquire at the time of registration.

Lay Responder CPR/AED/FA with Narcan Training Course
- The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (lay responder) program is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. In this course, a skill boost for Naxalone (Narcan) is provided in which participants practice administering Naxalone with a training device.
This course does NOT fulfill the requirement for annual CPR certification for lifeguards mandated by Wisconsin Pool Code, Chapter ATCP 76. Please register for the CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Recertification.
- Eligibility criteria:
- There is no minimum age requirement to participate as long as the participant has sufficient physical strength to perform the necessary skills
- Additional notes:
- Participants MUST attend all dates and times. No exceptions.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Recertification (CPR PRO)
- The purpose of the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers recertification course is to give participants the opportunity to review the course knowledge and skills in order to maintain their American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers certification.
This course fulfills the requirement for annual CPR certification for lifeguards mandated by Wisconsin Pool Code, Chapter ATCP 76.
- Eligibility criteria:
- There is no minimum age requirement to participate as long as the participant has sufficient physical strength to perform the necessary skills
- Possess an American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification OR an American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification. Certification must be currently valid or expired by no more than 30 days*
